This waterfall occurs on Wells Creek Road and can actually be seen from just off the road (although it doesn't look like much from there. The main section of the falls is about 20' tall with another 10' or so of smaller drops upstream and around the corner. I suspect that this falls used to be both taller, and much more attractive before the landslide covered the creek below the falls. Hopefully someday the creek will wash all the debris out from below the falls and return to its former glory. Right now, it's basically just a big rapid. This waterfall was previously called Upper Excelsior Falls on this site.

DIRECTIONS - Follow
the directions to Nooksack Falls. Continue on Wells
Creek Road for another couple of miles until you reach the second of two
rockslides on the right side of the road. The falls can be seen
from just off the road by climbing down the boulders and with enough
