Baker Lake Road - Whatcom County

Baker Lake Road runs from Highway 20, just west of the town of Concrete, following the Baker River between Mt. Baker and Shannon and Baker Lakes.  Most of the waterfalls in this area, and there are many, begin their lives in the many glaciers and snow fields on the slopes of Mt. Baker.  These waterfalls are often large in stature, but quite difficult to access.  The region is full of rugged, mountainous slopes, massive trees, and plentiful waterfalls.  Most of these waterfalls are in Whatcom County, but the road does spend a little time in Skagit County and there are several waterfalls found there as well:  Baker Lake Road - Skagit County.
